So now the President-Elect is now the President.  Sad!

And now a nostalgic trip to the 1960’s and a call to action!   Bang those tambourines, everyone!

I don't recall this one at all, though if it was released as a single it didn't register in this country. Nevertheless, escape from the present nightmarish scenario is perfectly understandable, and the 60s seem as good a place as any - whether or not 'grass' plays a part.

Fabulous choice, RTG! Years ago, Mary Badami gave me a tambourine, but alas, I gave it to my wayward nephew, who was in a garage band. But I do still have my brass finger cymbals that Butch gave me in 1978! I can bring those -- and some weed! -- to the party! :-)

Thank you Bob. Fake news, Fake President...i think I see a trend.

Hi Raybeard. I looked up the article on Wikipedia. It did state that the single was #1 in the summer of 1968 here, but it did not mention if it was ever released in Britain. Just the same I hope you enjoyed it.

Thank you Janey. Bring them to the party!
