Saturday Evening Post, Vol. 3, #41: Back Home
Hello all. I am back home and feeling better after an 11 day stay at the hospital. I was short of breath whenever I moved around and doctors found I was retaining fluid. They were able to drain over 50 lbs of water weight while I was in their facility.
Now the situation is bring monitored. I will keep everyone updated.

Good to know you're home. Stay well, stay safe.
OMG! 50lbs!11 days in hospital, Wow! Stay on top of it for sure. Do you have anyone who looks in on you??? Be safe.
50 lbs of fluid -- holy moly! Glad you're back home -- stay well over the holidays!
My unlce had the same issue months back where he too was retaining water and lost about 40lbs of water weight from his lower half. He now has to exercise and no salt of any kind...he's been doing great.
Take care and glad to hear your home. It's been a hard year losing a lifelong friend, Anne Marie and now my aunt, so please take care.
I too am glad to see you posting again and hearing you news.
I will call today as I have been thinking of you.
Get better!
Hi, Todd -- Just popping in with Christmas greetings today. You've been on my mind. I know the first holiday without a cherished loved one is especially difficult, but I hope today finds you in good health and good spirits. Cheerio!
First things first: I do not blog and have no blog, and in fact,up till, now I never reply to blogs. That said, I first came across your blog after reading other blogs that Anne Marie replied to or that mentioned Anne Marie. I loved her attitude and replies. I was so saddened to learn of her death. Since then I have thought of you often and look for your comments on various blogs, concerned about your wellbeing. Grief is a strange, meandering, sometimes sneaky thing -- goes along in expected ways, seems to rather settle, then BAM! It hits again out of the blue in different ways. (4 yrs ago around this time of year, I lost both parents less than 4 months apart. I have read there is no 'right'way to grieve, and that it tends to be like a coil - some of the coils are intense 'inward', other coils seems to be leading up and out , but of course the coil leads one eventually back to the inward coils again...). All this to say, I hope you are healing from the loss of Anne Marie and that you are healing from your recent health issues. And thank you for being out there in the universe for some of us introverts to inadvertently stumble across and come to treasure. Take care, Charsea
The history Toll Free Numbers began from the time when AT&T launched a new product called "interstate INWARD WATS" in 1967. To be precise, AT&T never had expected the product to become a huge success hence it cannot be said that they had actually launched the program.
Hello All,
My hope is that Todd and Anne Marie's blogger friends will see this post.
I'm sorry to say that Todd passed away the evening of January 25th. He had fallen that Monday and was taken to Paoli Hospital by ambulance. His kidneys and gallbladder began to fail and his heart couldn't take the stress.
We know he is with the love of his life once again and that gives us the strength to carry on.
We will have a small family get-together sometime this summer at the campground his family vacationed every year. We'll offer a prayer and spread both their ashes around their family's "happy place".
Thank you for being a huge part of Todd's life. Blogging was his therapy.
God bless you all,
Marlene Gunther, Todd's SIL.
I had been concerned over his lack of recent postings. So sorry to hear of Todd's passing. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Charsea
