Satire Tomorrow, Music Tonight!
Another
depressing week for America! Another
mass murder on our streets (another one for the record books)! And god damn it, lord! You took another Wilbury from us!
I am working
on some sort of bitterly sardonic and ironic Gun Prayer, but we will leave the satire
for tomorrow. Tonight music…as we
remember Tom Petty and his contribution to the greatest super group that never
got a chance to tour. Unfortunately,
Warrior Queen grabbed End of the Line for her Saturday Night Protest Party, but
Handle with Care will do for me.
The
Traveling Wilburys, with the quintessential anthem of pearls of wisdom from five
aging rockers. It’s still wonderful
thirty years on…
(Thank you
for reading. Until tomorrow…Rest in
Peace, Mr. Petty!)

I understand that Jeff Sessions is hosting a Black Robe Warlock Dance on the next full moon, which just happens to be called... The Beaver Moon.
RIP Mr Petty and thank you for all the great music.
Song, performance and video all sheer perfection.
I suppose it was inevitable that over time it would become the memento mori that it now has - but still, what a jewel!
Really, Dave R? Oh, why am i so surprised at anything anymore.
We will miss Mr. Petty, Bob.
Thank you Raybeard. I must dig out my Wilbury CD's for the ride to work this week.
