Saturday Night Post, Vol. 3, #22 - Please Pardon My Absence
It's been a long six weeks or so. Aside from dealing with my bereavement I also had to contend with a urinary condition. I spent the better part of last week at the local hospital until they could control the bleeding.
In any event I am home on a Saturday night with three cats and a goal to start blogging again. This will be my first time to write, edit and publish without Warrior Queen serving as Senior Editor. I am keeping it short and simple for my first solo endeavor.
Tonight I am thinking about reading passages from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy while nursing a gin and blue curacao.
I have no doubts that Mrs. Eddy would not approve. I am very sure the Mistress will venture some thoughts on mixing liquor with dogmatic ideology. Warrior Queen would certainly put her nose up at the thought that I am drinking "her" gin without saying, "May I?"
Thoughts?

Nice to see you back. I imagine every day is a new day and not quite what you expect.
I imagine AM might share the gin, though perhaps not the Scripture??

Have thought you both often in these past weeks. Welcome back. While I still take time for Dogma - daily walks and pets and meals - I am currently much too preoccupied with Catma - 4 kittens and a Mama Catma, plus the regular 4. As far as Mary Baker Eddy goes? I enjoy her vegan pot pies very much - though they don't serve them in her restaurants, which is a shame. Did I get that right? Kizzes.
Glad you're feeling better from that infection and intend to return to blogging. Enjoy that gin!

As for Mrs. Eddy - I keep handy a copy of the Scientific Statement of Being.which is the panacea of all ills when gin and blue doesn't work.
It is gear to hear from you. Do take care of yourself. Sounds like rather deep reading, gin is very much in order. I have to think, Anne Marie wouldn't want good gin to go to waste, and sitting in the bottle it is doing no good.
